Spitzlft has designed systems for  mounting their portable crane on a utility truck with service bodies.

The Top Service Body Mount is designed for mounting on top of a service body sidepack. It comes with an install hardware kit that is complete for most service bodies. This mounting kit is retrofit friendly, and easy to install. There are two sizes to fit different widths of service bodies, a 15 and 20 inch model. It has a 900 lb capacity and must be used with the DC crane.

The Service Body Corner Mount is designed to mount to the inside corner of a service body vehicle. There are two models, one for the driver side and one for the passenger side. It has a 900 lb capacity and is best used with the DC crane.

The crane that is used with these mounts is designed with a shorter vertical pivot tube. Because of the height of the service body, this allows the crane to be easily set in place without limiting lifting height.

The 4 ft. DC Spitzlift crane weighs 40 lbs. When not in use it can be left on the truck, folded and stowed or used for other applications. It comes with a quick connect wiring harness that attaches to the vehicles battery. Every SPITZLIFT comes with a safe working load test certificate.
