For a solid, all-around, all purpose work shoe, Thorogood has the footwear for you in its 8 inch Moc Steel Toe work shoe. Proudly made in the USA by ISO 9001 Certified Shoe Company, this shoe features very good slip and abrasion resistance ratings and excellent marks for oil and chip resistance. Crafted in a handsome tobacco-colored oil-tanned leather, the shoe boasts Goodyear Storm Welt construction. The cotton drill vamp lining helps to control moisture inside the shoe, while the removable Dual Density Ultimate Shock Absorption™ Footbed on Poron® 4000 Comfort Cushion keeps your foot comfortable and happy all day. The midsole is rubber; the shank is engineered composite. The outsole is Thorogood's exclusive MAXwear Wedge™ of polyurethane.

To maximize your Thorogood shoes' longevity and usefulness, apply the following basic use and care guidelines. Clean shoes immediately if they have been exposed to dirt or contaminants by using a soft brush, then a dampened cloth and mild soap. Clean the shoes before treating the leather with a good quality footwear oil or wax. To preserve the leather, clean and treat the shoes on a regular schedule. Remove blooming by using a damp cloth. Do not soak the leather; allow to dry slowly and completely at room temperature-- never near a heat source. Keep the insides of the shoe clean and dry with powders and disinfectant spray. Use cedar shoe trees to keep the insides fresh and well shaped. Also consider owning a second pair of shoes to allow one pair to completely dry while the other is in use.
