Great pants with some great features.
Recently bought a pair of navy blue Brawny pants. Although I was skeptical at first, I really like these. I TIG weld large frames on the floor all day long. I had tried kneepads before but found that they pinched the back of my legs and would move around too much. I've tried a larger, unattached pad, but then had to move it all around all day. The pockets for the pads on the knees of these pants take all of the nuisance and hassle out of kneepads. The pockets are large, as are the pads, which is good. I'd wondered if the pads would smim around in there and not end up under my knees. Not at all the case. 100% good allignment. The kneepad pockets are not the only plus. The utility pockets are a great feature as well. I've dealt with pens, markers, and assorted other items in my jean pockets. They always end up falling sideways to the bottom, and eventually causing holes in the thin white material somebody decided pockets should be made of. The Blaklader pockets are canvas, just like the pants. No chance my pens will be tearing holes anytime soon. Plus, the utility pockets hang freely, which provides far more comfort than I ever imagined. I don't want to go on forever listing the features, they are all listed on the product page for you. Just know that all that they say is true. I'd say these pants are well worth the money, and this is coming from a guy that usually spends as little as possible on work jeans. No more discount denim for me! |
